Losing weight for a wedding?
Hey everyone! Now this IS NOT a necessity. This is a hopeful goal.
I'm getting married on July 7th of this year and currently weigh 168lbs at 5'1". My fiance doesn't want me to try and lose too much weight because he loves my curves. However, getting back into better shape before the wedding would be nice. Just to feel better about admiring those photos later on down the road. I don't look large and my dress fits beautifully but it's a lace up so it CAN be tightened.
Any good weight loss tips? Natural that is. I tried pills and drops like HCG and it messed my system up because I'm already vitamin deficient. They all actually made me gain weight! Help?? Any good tips or exercises?
I can't run too much because I have an extra bone in both of my knees but I walk tons at work. I do Zumba at home when I can and love it. I love stretches and sit ups. Any other ideas?

Any Weight Loss Tips?
Hi there,
I'm a 17 year old girl. I'm 145 pounds and 5'6. I think that puts my BMI around 23. Not unhealthy or overweight, but on the heavier side. I have a 36 bust and a 30 waist. For aesthetic reasons as well as health-related ones, I'd like to whittle that down. As a high school senior going into college next year, I feel sometimes like I'm one stressful first semester away from becoming overweight.
Right now, I've stopped snacking (except for the occasionally apple). I've replaced the soda/fruit drinks in my diet with water (except for breakfast, where I have 1 glass of orange juice). I try to drink a lot of water throughout the day as well.
I want to know is there anything else I can do? I don't want to crash diet and start yo-yo dieting. I don't want to starve myself either. But I'd really like to lose around 10 pounds in a healthy way.
Basically, this is what my normal diet looks like:
Breakfast: 1 bowl of Greenway cereal, one glass of OJ, and a banana
Lunch: Bottle of water, plain turkey sandwich, apple
Dinner: Water + whatever mom's made. Usually that's a bowl of pasta or something. Dinner's tricky, because I have to eat what the family's eating, but the meals are rarely super unhealthy and I try to scale back my proportions. If it's pasta, I won't go for seconds. If it's chicken or pork chops, I won't reach for the bread.
Sometimes, I'll have a bit of dessert. A brownie or something like that? Depends on what's happening. Other times, I'll just have a cup of English Breakfast tea (with milk and sugar).
I go running for ~30 minutes a day (sometimes 45, at the max an hour). I run on the running machine in my basement (not really sure what it is exactly... kinda a cross between an ellipse and a stable bike). Other times I go outside to jog.
So, that's what I'm doing so far to lose weight. I understand that nothing will happen overnight. But I want to ensure that I'm in a good place when I head off to college. So any tips would be greatly appreciated! If I keep doing what I'm doing, will I lose? Or is there something else I should consider?
Also, anything in particular I could do to target my waist/core? I've heard that sit ups don't really help....

I'm 15...My BMI is barely normal( abit overweight).I wanna lose 50 lbs to be model skinney
I have been dieting for 15 days,eating less than 700 calories eating healthy low calorie foods and exercising cardio(starving myself I know but I was proud of it)I lost 15 pounds..Anyways this week,I have been binging ,eating junk and unhealthy food,feeling hungry and eating too much ...I guess I gained the weight all back and even more...I'm afraid to look at the scale now..
Anyway now I decided no more starving it will never work..I will eat healthy balanced low calorie meals but not in an obsessive way..I will eat a chocolteate bar every 3 days ( I really need chocolate, before I used to eat 3 chocolates a day) ..I will just take care of my calorie intake ,eat light dinner and exercise cardio if I could..
.Do you think this plan will work ?
