Yeast infection caused by antibiotics?
I went to the doctor about three weeks and I was diagnoised with a bacterial infection in my lungs, sinuses, and ears. I was prescribed Amoxicilin and I took it for ten days. The infection in my lungs and sinuses cleared up, but I was still was having pain in my ear. I went back to the doctor on Tuesday, who determined I still had a pretty bad infection in my ear. I was once again prescribed antibiotics, this time Levaquin. I still have eight days of medication left and I think all the antibiotics I have been taking has caused me to develop a yeast infection. Are there any good over the counter medications I can get to clear this up? Or should I make another trip back to the doctor? Can I take medicine to clear up a yeast infection while I'm still taking antibiotics?

so my boyfriend has chlymidia and he said his doctor told him it was from not taking care of your yeast infection. is that truue that you can get chlymidia for not treating a yeast infection?

Can yeast infection cause small cuts?
Last month, I noticed my vulva got very inflamed and irritated. The skin almost felt like it was burning and looked pretty red, but it didn't hurt to urinate. I also noticed a small paper cut type of tear in my labia. I was tested for every STD and it came back negative. I even took a herpes swab test of the cut and it came back negative (and three different doctors told me it did not look like herpes). After a week, it went away. Now it is three weeks later, and it has come back overnight. It feels very uncomfortable and I even noticed there is another small little cut in a different area than last time. I am going to take Monistat in case this is a yeast infection, but could a yeast infection be causing these cuts and irritations? Any other possibilities? Forgot to mention that both times I experienced the irritation within a couple days of my period ending. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.
